Tips to find part-time work?

I will be coming to Winnipeg this August to pursue a post-graduate diploma. I have job experiences in many roles. I have job experience as a clerk cum receptionist, as a customer service representative (CSR) and also as a software developer. I will be primarily looking for night-shift and part-time jobs. Do you folks have any tips to share with me while looking for the job? I will be awaiting responses from you guys.

Well from your description you were receptionist or a personal assistant. I do not see any clerk jobs there.
