Hi all ,

I'm going to have the IELTS Exam within 1 week from today , but i 'm so confused specially in the writing i barely write 150 words i don't know how to enlarge my essay words , does any one got a help full tips to IELTS exam over all and for the writing exam specially ?

Thanks
Sherif

Read a few sample answers for the writing task which you should be able to find online quite easily and try to see where you can improve your writing and how you can paraphrase sentences. Read more books and start worshiping a big fat dictionary to build your vocabulary and you will be fine.

Hi,
A very good source of information is:
metronews.ca and cbc.ca. In both sites you have access to news and audio in a daily-basis. I use both to enhance my English proficiency. I got my score last year, two months after arriving to Toronto.

if you google "IELTS Writing samples" there are plenty of written samples for you to go over. You can follow their format and you should be fine! The introduction, body, and conclusion are pretty much the same styles for all types of questions.

i had the exam in the beginning of the week , i think i didn't do well in the listening and writing, they both were little bit hard .. anyway i'll wait to see the result..

If you look at this website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/language-testing.asp

It tells you to qualify for FSW, you'd need a minimum score of "6" for all four categories. So you are not qualified at this point.

So, you'll need to improve your writing score on your next test to qualify

any good web sites or books may help me in improving my writing ?
