Timing for Applying Closed Work Permit Extension and Spousal Sponsorship

Hello,
I need to apply for a closed work permit extension in January 2025. Can I apply for spousal sponsorship at the same time, or should I wait until the extension is completed to apply for spousal sponsorship?

Posting under family sponsorship so you are waiting for PR? Spousal sponsorship is when you sponsor spouse for their PR. If about extending a work permit then post under foreign workers.
