We applied online for her supervisa while she was in India last month and also got her medicals done in India.
The website says 134 days processing times for India applicants.
Once the period is over will my mother has to be back in India and submit her passport?

Processing times are only estimates and are often incorrect so wouldn’t rely on the 134 days. If/when the supervisa is approved she can go to the Canadian land border to activate the supervisa via flagpoling or she can activate it if she has travel planned before the supervisa activation expiry date.
