Time taken for Study Permit from Abu Dhabi

Hi,

Can anyone kindly tell me how much time it takes for a student visa to canada from Abu Dhabi? I have applied and its been 2 weeks and haven't heard anything yet...please help

NOTE in India official website says 3 weeks processing time but students have got visa in even 3-7 days. usually it take about 15 days in peak season.

I got my passport back exactly after 6 weeks. 4-6 weeks is the processing time, and 5 working days are taken for visa stamping, provided that your application is complete and as per the requirement.

Thanks all for the replies!!!1 Is the application time different for different nationals? When I asked at VFS they said about 3 weeks? Anyone received the study permit in 3 weeks? If yes what nationality you belong to??

For VFS, they'll say the processing time will be 3-6 weeks, whereas in the embassy, either 4-6 or 8-10 weeks.. but all will be processed in the same place (I guess)

The embassy has posted something in the website about adding 20 processing days, in addition to the 4-6 weeks proc. time, to nationals of certain countries.
