I have got the Job-Offer from the Canada and the Canadian Employer has already applied for the LMIA Application as well (2-weeks before). In the LMIA Application, the employer has opted for the "Dual Intent".
The employer has already submitted the "Permanent Resident - Labour Market Impact Assessment Application" form mentioning the Dual Intent to the ESDC or Service Canada and awaiting the LMIA/File Number. As per the employer's knowledge, it takes maximum 10-days to get the response (LMIA or File Number) from Service Canada, once we submit the LMIA Application. But it is already 2-weeks over and I am yet to get the LMIA/File Number.
Can anybody please let me know that how much time it really takes to get the LMIA Number once we submit the LMIA Application!??
