Three months and still no correspondence?

I couriered by package of documents to sponsor my husband to move to Canada on August 18th and it is exactly three months later and I still have received no email or UCI number from CIC. We are living in South Africa currently and the mail here pretty much does not work so I won't even know if they returned my package via mail. What can I do? Isn't it abnormal to wait this long with no news? How can I find out if they did in fact mail the package back at some stage?

Do you have proof of delivery? May be contact IRCC from SKYPE if cant dial 800 numbers from there. +1 888-242-2100 use options after sometime 2,,,1,,,,1,,,0 They will find the applicant by Sponsor's last name , phone numbers etc..Then you may find if you are in the system OR not.

Hi Levans,

We are also from South Africa (Pretoria) and we sent our application on 10 September, also have not heard anything. You can try contacting them via Google Hangouts (it is free), we at least got a temporary application number but they could not really tell me anything more than that either.
