I recently got my PR through the FSW stream (was lucky enough to barely get an invitation last year), and this is sparked a lot of interest among my acquaintances . A cousin of mine is now looking at Canada, and a consultant told him he has a good chance to get nominated by PEI, but I am a little skeptical.
I'd be really grateful if anyone can share their experiences with a PNP nomination. I would particularly be interested to hear from people who have no connection to PEI - basically outland applicants with no work experience, education, family ties, or job offers in the province - who have successfully or unsuccessfully tried this route.
No chance without connection to the province. Have registered my EOI profile with 70 points in May 2018, then renewed in May 2019. Have not been selected.
They state on their website that preference is given to applicants with connection to the province.

Well, they are in business to make money, simple as that.
As of today the only realistic PNP to get nominated without job offer and/or connection to a province is Saskatchewan.
Soon, Yukon province will have another pilot program where they will grant work permits limited to a certain city/community. I assume it will also be without a job offer or conenctions to the province.
