hi guys,
Just want to know those who quarantine at the port of entry. Hypothetical situation - a person needs to fly to Winnipeg but can't find international flights there so he/she lands in Toronto. Will he/she needs to mandatory quarantine in Toronto for up to 3 days, right? then fly to Winnipeg? Or spend up to 3 days in Toronto then go in Toronto for self-isolation for 14 days and after 14 days a person can fly to Winnipeg? or after spending up to 3 days in Toronto person gets negative results and can purchase another internal flight and fly to Winnipeg? The situation is not clear
You quarantine for 3 days at the hotel at your point of entry so Toronto.. Then you can fly to Winnipeg and quarantine there for 11 days. The person will want to show that why he/she needs to go to Winnipeg.

ok then at the port of entry then CBSA will question the person why you are in Toronto and not in Winnipeg?
The answer would be - I got my flight here and from here as a port of entry then books a separate flight to Winnipeg(school is there) ? So it has to be separate flights? or all one flight?

There are only 4 POEs so you have to land in Toronto, Montrea, Calgary or vancouver. They will not question that but ask why you will travel on to Winnipeg. You will have two separate flights. Land in TO, quarantine for 3 days and then travel on to Winnipeg.

yes..agree
I chose Winnipeg as hypothetical. the final destination is Calgary which person cant find a direct flight to Calgary or flights are very expensive. So normal prices show Toronto or Vancouver...
