Those of you who landed... PR card processing time?

I landed about seven weeks ago. I was told my PR card would get to my address within 4-6 weeks. I haven't gotten it yet To those of you who landed, about how long did it take for you to get your PR card? I have my COPR of course, but I don't know if I can leave the country by commercial travel until I have the actual card. Thanks!

The instruction letter we all received along with our passports and COPRs states that in 6 weeks' time we should be getting our PR cards. That's a business estimate, i.e. expect it to last for about two calendar months. In the extreme case that after 10 weeks you still haven't received it, do contact Service Canada serving your community.

Thanks guys! According to the website I should get mine mid-July then.

And here I thought I'd be waiting on my SIN card and OHIP forever... and got both of those within one week of applying.

I landed on January 10, 2012. Got my PR card on March 5, 2012 = 39 business days later.
The standard at that time was 42 business days.

I just got mine, so the officer while landing told me it would take 6-8 weeks so I waited and waited till the 8th week.

I called up CIC to ask the status and to my surprise they said there is no record of me landing and I was like how can that be I landed got my PR confirmation and applied for health card and SIN number
there was a confusion and after 15 days yesterday i just got mine.
