I have a question..it might be stupid, but I need help!
My hubby got his meds done a month back..he told me later on that the doc wrote down his height wrong.. and he did not say anything..he didn't realise until he got home..
so now, on his immigration application..there are questions about his height, colour of eyes etc.
should he write the height that mustve been sent with the meds or should he write his real height..the one written on the meds is 2 inches shorter than his real height.
He should contact them with his real height and explain what had happened. If he was required to have an interview and had not told his real height, would be bad if they decided they wanted to measure him because of the 2 different heights recorded.
I dont think you need to worry about 2 inches,2 inches can be gained or lost from different docotrs and such.Just let it be.If asked say well when i was measured before i was this tall then the doc measured me and told me i was this height, maybe you shrank, but again i wouldnt say anything and not worry about it.Put the height the doc did for your medicals.
my thinking was, the doctor is someone approved by the embassy to conduct tests and therefore has a relationship already with them and therefore if the applicant indicates to the doctor there is an error then it can more or less be easily corrected by the doctor rather than go through and write a letter and so forth which i feel will slow down the application even more. maybe he should find out from the doctor if this is a problem or not. I don't know if they minutely check all the details or if they want to check only that you have passed the test. if push comes to shove, and you dont declare it, well he can simply say that he did not know the doctor put the wrong info.?
They want your height info to be sure about your identity. I've never heard of anyone being measured at the interview, though, so unless the height was way off you're probably safe. Still, on the CAIPS notes there was a place where they asked about the identity and the visa officer was to indicate whether he checked or just estimated - it was things like height, eye colour, etc.

Hi, Did this height difference lead to any issue? I am in the same situation, I know it's very old post but hoping of a miracle that you come across this and share your experience.
my medical exam doctor measured less for each of my family member, however, I have mentioned in the applicationthe height which is around 3 cm more in comparison to what medical center nurse measured.
