Hey,

Going to leave details of this case in jot points:

- She is 25, with property in Thailand
- She and I have been together for almost 3 years now
- She has travelled with me to over 7 countries including Canada (on a tourist visa)
- She lived in Canada for 6 full months with me
- She has a university degree
- She is currently unemployed
- She has around 600K thai baht savings

She wants to study in a college in Ontario, I would just like to get an idea of the difficulty of making this happen given that I am her BF and I am from Canada, it may look suspicious I guess.

I would greatly appreciate any comments/suggestions/help from anyone with any experience in this.

Thank you very much.

Given her profile, there's definitely a chance a study permit could be approved - although it's never guaranteed. To have a high chance of approval, she will need to do the following:

- Ensure she picks a program in Canada that makes sense based on her previous education and work experience
- Demonstrate that she has at least $25K (preferably more) in savings to support her education in Canada
- Demonstrate proof of ties to her home country (e.g. proof of property ownership, it would be preferable for her to be employed)
- Show evidence of any previous travel to countries requiring visas (such as Canada)
- She should apply from Thailand and not while in Canada

thanks, was hoping to get some information/advice from someone who has been in a similar spot.
