Hello everybody,

I have some questions about the re-entry as a foreign worker and hope you can help me out :-)

I would like to apply for my work permit at the port of entry in Oct 2013, and hope I will get it. After I got the work permit I will stay in Canada for just 7-10 Days, looking for a home, buy a car, apply for social insurance number, opening a bank account and so on. Then I will fly back to Europe to sell my car, quit my current job and take my dog and husband back to Canada, I think this will take 4 weeks.

So my questions are:
( I am from a visa exempt country )

1. Will I get in trouble at the port of entry because I was just 10 days in Canada after I got my work permit?

2. How long could I maximum stay outside of Canada after I got my work permit??

I hope anybody can help me out!
