Hi,
My wife's visitor visa application was refused on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
We plan to visit Canada for one month this summer to visit my family. My wife is Chinese but hasn't worked since the birth of our daughter 10 months ago. It is hard to provide evidence of her personal assets and financial status as she is not working and does not own any property. My employer supplies our apartment. For the application we included evidence that I could support her financially during our trip to Canada with an explanation of why her bank account does not have a lot of money in it but this appears to not have been sufficient.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what other evidence we may be able to provide that would help her meet the 3 requirements above that she was refused for? For this application we included our marriage certificate, my work contract for next year, our round trip flight itinerary and receipt, and our apartment contract for next year.
Thank you
