Hi all, I'm a permanent resident living and working in Canada and my spouse is currently in India. He's applied for his TRV but is unable to give his biometrics as biometric services are unavailable in India for the TRV category. Is getting biometrics done in places outside India (like Dubai or the US) an option?
He can go outside India for biometrics. If you are PR, have you applied for spousal sponsorship instead of a TRV. A TRV has a high chance of refusal because he is not visiting Canada.
Many seem to be going to Dubai although you should certainly check whether that is still possible and whether quarantine will be required. As already specified approval of TRV for spouses are low.
