I applied dependent visa (Temporary Resident Visa - TRV) for my spouse at New Delhi. Passport received on May 23 and still waiting. Anyone applied in New Delhi recently for TRV? I heard it takes 6-8 weeks due to stringent processing and PAFSO strike. It has been 6 weeks already and no news yet. Any additional info could be of help.
I applied for visa on the 3rd of May, 2013, still no response. I am really frustrated now. I have a closed work permit and i need to rush back to canada asap. I wrote several email and also did a written application. But no luck.

Dude, its best not to wait any more time and apply for a work permit. In case of CHC, its all a matter of luck. My issue is clear now.
As i have received a work permit from CIC, i dont need a new work permit. I have asked CHC to transfer my application from work permit to TRV. Lets hope it works. If, i dont get any reply till monday then i will ask them to give me back my passport and make a new application for a TrV which i am expecting to get back in 15 days at the most.
No update from cic yet. Finally, i withdrew my transfer application from work permit to TRV. CIC sent me my passport back in 4 days. Now, on the 20th of August, i have applied for a TRV on my work permit, job offer and stuff.
