Hi Experts!
While filling out the required TD1 (Federal), Line # 7 for my employer, it asks for the claim in case you are supporting your spouse.
I need to ask if my spouse lives in Pakistan and I support her (having Wetransfer receipts with me), can I claim the amount $12,069?? However, my wife is currently not a PR and her case in the process. She does not have any job and is a housewife back home.

Further, if I can claim the above $12,069 then I will add Line #1 basic personal amount $ 12,069 to it to get total claim amount of Line # 13. ($12,069+ $12,069) Right??
