Hi,

I have a few questions regarding taxation in India and Canada regarding the sale of land, for someone who is a PR and a citizen of India

1. Do I have to pay tax in Canada for income earned from sale of land in India ?
2. I heard that if a citizen of Canada sells their land in India, they have to pay 20% tax on income from sale of land in India. Only if they are a citizen of Canada. Is this true ?
3. If a person living in India (not a PR) sells the land and sends the money to a PR family member, is taxed here in Canada ?
