I have been a student in Canada for more that 2 years and filed tax for each year. But, I returned to my home country in August 2018. I still have a valid visa but do not have a valid work permit in Canada right now as it is granted upon arrival to Canada.
I am maintaining a valid bank account in Canada. Does it make me eligible for filing a tax return?

You wouldn’t be a tax resident for 2019
