Tax on PR Newcomer's Funds?

Hi,
My first landing in Canada with PR Visa FSW is planned for the 15 of June (in few days). I want to:
- Transfer my Current funds from my country to Canada (wire transfer). Due to transfer delay, I might receive the funds in Canada after I land. Would these funds be subject to Tax in Canada
- My current company is preparing the final settlement before my departure, so I might receive the money by wire transfer after I land in Canada. Would these funds be subject to Tax

Any advise or guidance would b much appreciated.
