We would love to take our live-in caregiver on vacation with us to Cuba. I have begun to apply for the TRV to allow her to re-enter Canada. I have two questions:
1. Do we need to know the exact dates of the trip or can we apply with approximate dates on the form? (We wanted to do a last minute deal)
2. When applying will a letter from me (employer) along with a copy of her contract be enough or does she need to send bank statements etc. (I know she has to send passport photos and the forms)
I find the forms confusing and because they are used for multiple purposes, not sure if everything is necessary.
Thank you!

hi! i am not familiar with the requirements going to cuba but in my case, my employer take me to the states together with them for a vacation late last year. what we just did was to apply for a u.s visa (visa for me). we just followed the instructions online, fill out the application and set an appointment interview to the u.s embassy and that's the time to present supporting documents if they will just ask for it. regarding with the date, we just made an approximate date
hope this may help you..
oh by the way, if you're not quite sure, better yet call the embassy to clarify things out
