1. See when you take TC's you have Amex Counter on airports and they will cash it for your there and then only. It is a good option if you taking like more then 10000 CAD and want to be safe. Cash can be put in bank.
2. Yes you can. I have this same doubt that if we can show Indian Bank statement like SBI and show it as POF to immigration office at the time of landing. To answer your question if you Indian Bank gives you this service then yes you can

1) So if I am taking Travelers cheques, I can encash it only at Amex counters... is it so? (I need to take more that 10000 CAD....)
2) I have a international debit card from CITIBANK which I can use anywhere with a fee per transaction.... But I am not sure whether the authorities accept it as a POF at the POE....
