T4 without NOA

Hi folks,

I need to submit my PCC soon as it expires on April 02 /2014 and i want to submit my 2013 T4 aswell ! however i didn't file my tax yet so no NOA in hand. Is it enough to send T4 or is it useless without NOA ?

Technically, Yes, It is kinda useless without NOA. NOA tells immigration officer that you actually file and use the T4 to report your income tax. NOA is the only way you can prove your T4's authenticity. I am an admin officer but, even I know how to make fake T4s.

But, I would send CIC a T4 and later when I receive NOA, I would update it by email.

just don't forget to send an explanation letter along with T4. you can just explain you haven't reported yet or it is in process and you will for sure update NOA once you receive it.
