I have been asked to submit my passport for further processing for my visa. After browsing through cic website, the only option that I have is to send the passports to the visa application centre (VAC) in Australia. For other countries, there is an option to send the passport direct to the visa office either by mail or in person. I would like to confirm with anyone that have experience before this whether submitting passport through VAC handle by VFS is the only option that we have in Australia (As there is additional cost of $43 per passport and can be huge sum if we have many passports).

I am not sure if you get your answer. I am in a same situation right now and I don't know which payment should I perform. What is application handling or some other things.The Sydney office soesn't respond at all.
