Switching from four year to career college - how much will it affect me?

I was accepted into a 4 year university, but have been having trouble finding myself in this madness. I realized I want to go down to a career college for something more specific.

After getting my Study Permit for going to this particular 4 year university, do I need to do something else now to be able to go to this career college instead? How will this affect my study permit status? Does anyone have any insight on the process of switching between a 4 year school to a college while already in Canada with a permit?

well if ur in canada and have got ur study permit then u have 3 months to join another college or else ur study permit will expire.....other than that the college ur going to should be on the designated list
