I really dont see anywhere in the article where it says they will "Suspend" the program. Of course they are trying to clear the backlog and thats why the are placing stricter caps each year. I dont see a need for creating panic bassed on nothing written.
@ Thebeast..You are very correct.following the link someone posted, the publication said the government will either increase resources or limit number of application, which is what they've already started doing.Let's just watch and see what will happen after the hearings.
It is a good news for all those who are waiting since 2003. Inventory of these cases is so huge that Govt. can meet its annual targets for another 7-8 years without opening federal skilled class.
It is likely that those who have job offers will be processed on priority basis as these applicant are not going to use placement resources of Government and thus no burden on system.

yes they want actally making applicants crazy, frustrated , and withdraw their applications
very straight farward and simple question is that if back ground check take more time than how they are issuing the visa to new applicants with in almost 6 months ?
