Hello experts, I have a quick question. Unexpectedly, after starting the PR process, we have been told by our doctor that my wife may have to go through a minor lumbar surgery to treat her Herniated Disc problem. I am totally confused if this will cause a negative remark on the medical examination report that would make the visa officers think twice to grant our PR. Please convince me that this surgery will not be a deciding factor in this regard. Your inputs are highly appreciated. Also if any of you could share a similar experience, that would boost my moral.
Hi,
Don't worry, a surgery to correct the herniated disc problem will not disqualify your wife for immigrating to Canada. It is always better to have the suregery at the earliest, so that she can get fast relief from the recurring back pain and secure good health. Good luck!!
Hello ainteh, I haven't even applied for my visa yet. I only got the approval from CIO. I will be approving this week. Will let you know once I get to that stage.
