Supporting documents for Permanent residence travel documents abroad

Hey everyone i want to know about permanent residence travel documents abroad. I have applied for citizenship on 23rd march 2009 and i have also applied for Pr renewal card on 26th september 2009.. My pr card has been expried on 11 novemeber 2009 but i did not stay there for some reasons i came back on 8th december but now i am applying for travel documents can i enclose the letter of ceremony with my case as a supporting documents? and can i write the letter to canadian high commission regarding my case details because the renewal of Pr card and my citizenship ceremony both will be completed soon but right now i am outside of canada and i have a expreid Pr card only.
