Hi There,

I am an Australian citizen (country of origin) and worked and lived in Canada (working holiday visa - temporary resident) from OCT 2010 - JUL 2012. I am now currently living back in Australia.

While living in Canada I made short trips to USA and Mexico which I will obviously mention.

My question is do I also include Canada on the form? ie. when I entered the country?

Thanks for your help :)

Anyone? I'm thinking I will add Canada in but any advice would be great!

Thanks

No - not if the trip is when you began "residing" in Canada.

Thanks jsm0085!

That's one less thing I need to add to my travel information :)

I also lived in Canada OCT 2003 - APR 2004 on a working holiday visa, so I wouldn't need to mention this in my travels either?

If you were residing in the country, you don't need to detail your trips TO that country or your home country. So if you went to the US.

Florida, USA, 3 days, business
No need to mention return to Canada.

Awesome. Thanks so much :)

Sorry, yet another question. I have a british passport which actually expires March 2013. I lived in the UK and travelled Europe in 2006/2007. Do I need to mention this? I will mention all the small trips to Europe. Just not sure about the UK as I did reside there but my passport will be expired when i send my application??

Thanks again

can anyone help? Thanks :)

Yes - you need to declare everything. Dual citizen etc. You will also need a UK PCC.

Even though I did 'reside there'? Apologies for all the silly questions just want to make sure I'm correct in what i'm writing down.

I have noted all Europe trips just not when I arrived into London, etc, etc....

Sorry... I was thinking you were talking about declaring you hadn't lived in Britain nor had a passport! :)

If you are talking about the travel form only you are right, no need - it will all be on the background dec!
