Supervisa validity

Website says supervisa is valid for up to 10 years.

Question 1
I am guessing if the passport is valid only for 3 years, then your supervisa will also be valid for 3 years only or will it be given for 10 years ? i.e. it is it limited by your passport validity ?

Can they just give you the remaining 7 years (10 years - 3 years = 7 years) after you renew your passport in 3 years OR do you have to reapply all over again with insurance, medical, proof of funds etc ?

If you search the forum and enter keywords "supervisa valid", you can see some poster's family was granted with 2 years validity. How many years are decided by the visa officer who handles your case.

#2 - No. You need to reapply.
