Hello all. My mom got approved of her supervisa and because the passport validity of my country is 5 years her visa expires in 2024. My question is, since supervisa is for 10yrs, in 2024 when her visa expires, will I just submit her new passport to the visa office for an extension or do I need a (new) fresh application?

If she gets a supervisa until the expiry of her passport yes. Visas are variable in time if Canada has some concerns they give visas for a shorter amount of time so people can prove that they will obey the Canadian immigration system. Permits and visas usually coincide with the expiry date of the passport or a typical length of a permit/visa.
