Just wondering if common-law parents can apply for the supervisa separately or if they have to apply together (if they are coming together). My MIL is <55 so wouldn't require medical insurance, as I understand. I want to apply for her first, and see what the outcome is before we spend $2000 on medical insurance for my FIL.
If you are applying super visa for you mother in law, then doesnt matter how young she is, you woul still need travel/health insurance. This is one of the requirement in this category. I am not sure where dis you read that if she is less than 55 than you don't need to have insurance.
First of all you should apply for the two of them together, if you say they are planning to come together.
Second, you most definitely need to buy insurance for both parents-in-law, or they will return your application back to you.
Hope this helps.
