Hello I have my PR in Canada for almost 3 years and have been working full time for almost 2 years. I want to sponsor my mom in Indonesia......... But here is my question, Me my mom and dad came to Canada by invitation of my dads sister who is citizen of Canada but because it is impossible to claim refugee status from Indonesia they claimed it about a month after arriving in Canada.

During the 3 years or so it took to get back the CIC decision which was negative and said we had to go back to Indonesia, my bf of course didn't want me to be deported so we got married which is why Iam now a PR of Canada, but what im worried about is applying for a super visa for my mom to bring back to me while i prepare to apply for parental sponsorship after November 2013, would us coming here by visitor visa then applying refugee status once landed have negative results for a super visa for my mom?

also can I apply for a super visa for my mom before applying for parental sponsorship ?

Thank you very much, and may god bless you all :)

You can certainly try applying. However there is a good chance your parents' failed refugee claim will have a negative impact on the super visa application. To be approved for a super visa, you must show you have strong ties to your home country and no plans to remain in Canada long term. It will be more difficult for your parent to prove this given the refugee claim. However you can certainly try applying and see what happens. Your parents should provide as much information as possible to demonstrate that they have strong ties to their home country.
