super visa stay length with 1 year insurance

Someone on reddit said they entered by land from the US with a super visa but the officer only allowed him a 1 year stay because his emergency health insurance was valid for 1 year

It is always up to CBSA when it comes to how long someone can visit Canada. Supervisa is up to 5 years not guaranteed 5 years.
