Super Visa Query : Proof of relationship

Hi Everyone,

I am from India and now a Canadian Citizen.I want to apply for my mother’s Super Visa.
As a part of the application, I need to provide Proof of her relationship.

My birth certificate is got destroyed in a mishap ( required as per CIC website)

-Can my expired Indian passport showing my mother’s name be used as a proof?
-What else could act as a proof showing her relationship to me?
