Super Visa or extension to visit visa

Hello All,

I need an advise -

My mother(in india) has visit visa until DEC 2015 and her passport is expiring on DEC 2015 as well.

Is it better to renew her passport and apply super visa

or she will come to Canada with renewed passport on visit visa and apply extension here in Canada ?

If I apply for super visa and if that will be reject will it impact her existing visit visa ?

If you want her to come to visit you as soon as possible, it would in the best interest for her to use her existing visit visa in coming to Canada. She can apply an extension (although not guarantee) to stay up to 2 years (assume your are PR/citizen). You should however check with the Indian passport issuing authority whether or not she can renew her passport in Canada.
