Super Visa Medical Insurance Question

HI my mother in law got super visa 3 years ago. She came to canada and stayed for a few months. Now she is planning to come again for 4 months. Does needs to get the insurance only for 4 months or still she needs to show the insurance coverage for 1 full year. and have to cancel it in future?

You need to buy the full year and then you usually get reimbursed by the insurance company for months not used.
