Super Visa in COVID Bio-metrics

Hi all,
My parents have applied for Super-Visa recently, IRCC has aksed for Bio-metrics. My parents are Karachi, Pakistan based. There is only one Visa Application Center in Karachi that does the Biometrics for Canada but they are closed and not giving any appointments. My parents have also called their helpline but they are temporarily closed. My dad has emailed IRCC Islamabad regarding the issue through web form. Is anyone else is facing the same issue or Biometric issue in general?
Please share your experience or suggestions.

Unfortunately they just have to wait until biometrics reopen. Their application will be put on hold until then.

I am in the same situation, applied super visa for parents, and got the biometric letter but unfortunately, vfs offices in Pakistan are currently closed util further notice.

Also, it would better if you can let VO know about this as well. Because , every letter we receive from CIC has a date , before which we need to get the things done. I hope this helps. Thank you

My parents have emailed VAC but they have an automatic message set that they are closed due to COVID lockdown. So really there is no option other than wait and see what happens.

There have been posts that the deadlines are to be disregarded if VAC is closed.
