Hi,

My dad's sister invited him and my mother to Canada on a visitor visa to attend her daughter's wedding. The application for which was filled and sent in February 2022. However, in March 2022 this visitor visa was refused. The reason was that the officer wasn't convinced that my parents would go back.

Now, I am deciding to apply for a super visa for my parents but I want to know if I should wait a while before doing so since it's still March and want to know if it'll be too soon to apply for the super visa? And do you think the refusal of visitor visa before might cause an issue in the super visa too? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Regards,
Fatima

So it was only one reason - not returning. Order GCMS notes to see reasons for a refusal. Applying for a supervisa will not change things if reasons for refusal are not addressed.

Hi Same happened with me recently. What did you do My parents file got rejected 3 times. It's frustrating, even though I hold permanent residency.
