I am currently based in Toronto Canada and originally from Karachi Pakistan where my mother lives. I am the only son and she is living alone in Karachi. I am now looking to apply for her super visa for Canada..I am meeting the minimum income requirement for the supervisa but its been only 10 months since I have been in Toronto. Is there any minimum length of stay required to show the minimum income level for successful super visa processing? Also since she is living alone in Karachi , and there is also an element of strong ties to the home country when they assess , is that going to be a factor?? How can she show strong ties to her country?
You either need your paystubs or a letter from your employer that you meet the LICO in order to sponsor your parents for super visa.
As long as one meet LICO, there is no minimum of stay required to show the minimum income level. To prove her ties with her country, does she owns things such as business, properties, memberships, pets and vehicles in her country? If so, show the proofs. Yes, as you can see in the above links, ties in one's country has always been a factor for assessment.
Another point is that I just switched to a new job after 10 months..in my current job( this is my first week in new job) , I am meeting the LICO , and not in my previous job..Will I still need to wait before applying for super visa ?? Also I noticed in the link, you provided ,that NOC and T4 is also given in documents for LICO proof.. I applied for taxes in april 2013 but that only covered 6 months of my employment period from my previous job ,,you think I should wait for April 2014 to file my taxes again and then apply for super visa or you think that does not make a difference?
I don't think you need to wait for the upcoming notice of assessment. I've seen other posters that they showed only the current employment letter that he meet the LICO at an annualized basis.
