I am in the process of applying a super visa for my mother.
However my mother's legal name spelled in her passport is different to how her name is spelled in my passport and birth certificate.
For example her name is Darlin in her passport document but in my passport and birth certificate my mother's name is shown as Darleen.
Even in my PR application I used the spelling of her name as it was on my passport. However now as the super visa is going to be based on her legal document (her passport) obviously we would have to use her spelling that is used there.
Will this cause any issues in her super visa application?
What should I do in this case, should I just write a LOE just explaining that it is the same name, and my legal documents have not been updated with her correct spelling?
Or should I do something more like get a name change affidavit from a lawyer from our home country where she is residing now?
Any advice will be much appreciated. Thank you.
