I submitted my PR application under CEC from within Canada few months ago. At the time of submission, I had my original birth certificate which was issued 30 years ago and was Hand written. Now I have managed to get my records updated with the government and got my comprised birth certificate which is the latest.
Question: Should I re-submit my updated/computerized birth certificate to immigration?

If you have AOR and the new Birth certificate does have all the similar information, I would suggest you can submit the new one along with a cover letter explaining your intention to submit the new one. I would be careful that the new certificate have all names and location spelled same and nothing changes.
