Do other things more than I need to get it? Before I could board my flight ticket, like a visa stamp maybe inside my passport??

I mean after I finish getting an email and receiving the approved letter from the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

The letter that says that:

Your application to study in Canada has been approved. A permit authorizing your studies will be issued to you on your arrival to Canada following an examination by an officer of the Canada Border Services Agency, subject to your compliance with the requirement of the Immigration and Refugees Protection Act and its Regulations.

The officer will ask to see this letter, your passport and may request to see your supporting documents, such as the letter of acceptance from your education institution. If you have not given your passport they will send a request for you to submit your passport for visa stamping.

Once you receive that and all other documents are in order you may need to upload this letter to your college, most colleges require that this be uploaded.

Then you only have to book your flight and pack your bags.

As far as I am aware when you submit the biometrics you handed over your passport, are you saying they gave it back to you on the same day?

If they collect your passport, they will only return it to you after stamping the visa.

The next day, after that, they sent me an official letter telling me to finish doing my biometrics. So I did it without collecting my passport,
and they handed me my passport on the same day.

Ok, in that case you should be receiving a request for your passport as without TRV stamp you cannot enter Canada. Maybe you got the approval first before the request for the passport. They will ask for your passport if you are approved for visa. I suggest either calling VFS or CIC or both to see what is the reason for not requesting for passport stamping. This seems to be an odd case, normally they would have taken passport if they are collecting biometrics. As they just started biometrics in India even I am not to sure what the standard procedure is.
