Hello Everyone

I am currently in Canada on worker status where as my husband is in India (he does not have Canadian visa). I want to apply for Canadian PR in a single application me being the primary applicant. I wanted to know if we can submit our passports separately (me in Canada and my husband in India)?

Yes, Go ahead and apply. Once your PR is approved, IRCC will send separate communication to both of you for passport submission to your respective local VO.

You will have to inform IRCC about separate passport submission once you get PPR email. Then only you can submit separately.

Thanks for the reply

So, once I get passport request then I mail them explaining my situation and wait for their reply before submitting the passport?

As there is Canada post strike and xmas vacation, It might take long time to came back my passport and I can not postpone the marriage date as I am travelling for my marriage.
