Hi! I read a lot of stuffs in this site and it is really a great help to a lot of people. I get a lot of cues and questions answered here. More power!
Lately though, we have been having a lot of annoying obstacles that I can't resist asking a question here.
I am a Canadian citizen and recently married my girlfriend. I am sponsoring her ( she's from the Philippines) but her medical at St. Luke's has been dragging on for too long. Anyway, to make a long story short, can we proceed in submitting our application even though the medical is not complete yet? She already has a "proof of upfront medical,'' the one with the bar code on the upper right hand. So as not to waste time, can the final results from the hospital be submitted a month after the application has been sent? For obvious reasons we really want to get the application afloat. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

that receipt is all you need to submit the application. the results get sent directly to CIC, not to the applicant, so don't worry how long it takes for now. that is not your concern for submitting the application. all cic needs is proof the medical has been done and that receipt proves that. feel free to submit your application anytime you want. you do not need to wait for results. technically an applicant can submit the application the same day they receive that receipt from the doctor. make sure to maintain a copy of that receipt for your files.

That's all she needs to include with app.

In general, the panel physicians will not send you any results of the medical, unless there was some serious problem found that needs further medical attention. They send all results directly to CIC RMO.
