My wife is sponsoring me for permanent residency outland through the London office. We're about to send in our application, her sponsorship application along with my PR application firstly to Mississauga office. What is the best way to submit the information? For example do i put all my documents in a seperate envelope addressed to the Uk office, within her application or do we submit all documents and photos in just one large envelope and the immigration here in Canada will approve her documents before sending it all on the London..
I know this may seem quite trivial but at this stage i really want to get this all right.
You submit the entire application in one envelope - but it's helpful to separate the paperwork into sections, the way the outland application is outlined here (Parts 1, 2 and 3), and then sort the requirements of each section according to the document checklists.
Use the applicant's checklist first (Appendix A of the Region Specific guides) to organize the applicant's forms (Parts 2 & 3) and clip that together with the checklist. Then use the sponsor's document checklist to organize the entire package - the sponsor's forms (Part 1) and the sponsors identifying docs in one clipped together section; the applicant's forms (Part 2), identifying docs and examination proofs (Part 3) in a second section; and then the relationship supporting evidence in a third section.
CPC-Mississauga will assess the information included in Part 1 - and if the sponsor is found to be eligible, they'll forward the entire application (Parts 1,2 & 3 and the supporting evidences) to the overseas visa office.
