Hi All,
Can anyone please answer my query?

We are staying in Toronto since 3 years and have applied for PR last year and waiting for medical request as of now…..
I am due on the Boxing Day with my first baby.

My question is:
After the baby is born-> he/she will be Canadian citizen by birth and we will take the Canadian passport for the baby.

Do we still need to submit the additional family member form and application to the visa office along with all the relevant documents, photos, fees etc????(I think we need not send in since the baby is already Canadian citizen and there is no need for the baby to have PR)

Can anyone tell me how to deal with this situation?

Thanks in advance.

Once your Baby will born in the Canada by birth he/she will be Canadian citizen. so, what you want to discuss!!
you have to inform visa office that your baby born in Canada and send birthcertificate to update your family status, but you dont have to fill out any PR forms for baby or no need to pay any fees for that becasue he/she will be Canadian citizen by birth.
if you want to plan travel outside canada with your new born baby than apply for his/her canadian passport otherwise no need for passport too (if you no plan for travel outside canada).

Thanks for the reply........what you want to discuss!!
I dont Want to discuss anything......
I just wanted to clear my doubt whether to send the additional family information, fees, photos etc after the baby is born here in canada.
Sorry if it offended you in anyways.

no fees nothing just send birthcertificate to visa office (update femily details).

Just submit the copy of you baby's birth certificate and a letter to address and inform the immigration about your recent birth..
if u r jus going to submit a copy they might juz set it aside..include a letter as for respect and formality..make sure to have it registered so in case 1 day cic will say they havent recieved it,,u hav a proof... dont worry it will not affect your application..

All earlier suggestions + You also must include a signed additional family information form from both husband and wife as it becomes your immigration record later on !
Hope that helps..
