When I sent my PR app I sent an OWP app but I WAS out of status at the time I still have not received AOR but NOW have valid status. I was told by IRCC agent to submit the OWP while I was out of status and explain of my situation of awaiting status restoration.
I was approved status through restoration.
Should I send another work permit application to arrive before the deadline now that I have my visitor status? Is it a risk if I think they haven't even gotten to my PR application and now I have my status when they open it?
I hope this makes sense. I am fine paying the work permit fee again and sending a separate OWP application so it would be with a valid status at time of submission.
Or will my original OWP(I stated out of status but awaiting restoration) be processed normally now that I have my status.

Hi! I sent my application on 2nd October but my status was expired at that time (2nd September-Work Permit) so I sent a letter with my PR app explaining my situation and also applied for extension before sending the application. However my status was approved for extension in December and before that I was on implied status. I got my OWP last week.
When did you apply for extension or restoration? Before sending the application or after?

Thanks for the reply!
I applied for restoration November 2018, last year, and JUST got my email through CIC portal approving my restoration. Then in December I mailed my Inland sponsorship application.
I am confused as to what status you had/expired/extended? Work? Visitor?
I now have VISITOR status but want to send a OWP application before the deadline. I did explain all of this in my application as well.
