Studying English and Work permit

Hello. We were looking my girlfriend and myself at studying english in Canada (for her).
I first thought she would be able to work part-time and myself full time as her common law partner. I could even see some language schools listed as available school to get a working permit for student.
But l read an article stating otherwise.

So my question is : Is there any english course who would grant a working permit for both of us on a let's say one year Student Visa ? Best regards.
