I am Prajeeth from India. I am currently working as a Piping Engineer for 6 years in the Oil and Gas industry and am interested in studying Engineering Management/Operations Management related courses in Canada. Following are my credentials :
10th std : 83%
12th std : 72%
UG : B.E (Mechanical Engg) 64% (8 arrears/ 13 attempts)
I approached an educational consultancy in Chennai, India where they encouraged me to pursue a certificate program/post-graduate diploma course as I will stand a bleak chance to get into an M.S program. Following are my questions :
1. Would be immensely grateful if someone could validate my profile and let me know if I must refrain from applying to masters program.
2. How do PG Diploma courses fair well when compared to MS programs when it comes to job opportunities ?
3. Is there anyone over here who share a similar profile and have landed up in a MS program ? Words of encouragement pls !
I will be taking up the IELTS in June and targeting to get a 7+ !
